My postdoctoral work includes serving on the SWEAH Board and as the Scientific Lead for SWEAH studies at Lund University, where I am responsible for the design, coordination, and scientific quality of research studies. In parallel, I hold a part-time postdoctoral position at the University of Gothenburg, examining how different forms of everyday activities influence cognitive ability in older adults, using longitudinal data from the H70 study.

Guided by a commitment to evidence-based practice and the use of emerging technologies, I am motivated to contribute to multidisciplinary research that addresses pressing societal challenges while responsibly leveraging technological opportunities. My aim is to be part of research efforts that generate knowledge, inform practice and policy, and create lasting, measurable impact.

I hold a PhD in Medical Sciences with a focus on Gerontology from Lund University, where my research explored how technology-based solutions can support engagement in everyday activities and enhance the well-being of older adults. A central component of my work involved a proposed design for smart home technology, developing deep learning and artificial intelligence–based models to categorise the everyday activities of older adults and their activity patterns, with the aim of informing prevention, care, and intervention strategies. I bring a strong background in clinical practice, along with ongoing and published research at the intersection of ageing, technology, and methodological development.
