Forskning

I earned my PhD from the Division of Atomic Physics, LTH, in October 2000,  with the thesis titled 'Time-Resolved Laser Spectroscopic -Studies of Atoms, Ions and Molecules'.

From November 2000 up to now, I have been working in the Division of Combustion Physics. My research has been developing and applying in situ laser/optical spectroscopic diagnostics in combustion and other harsh gas flows, e.g. hot flue gas and plasma. The aim was to achieve sensitive and accurate temperature and atomic molecular species measurements in situ in reactive flows with high spatial and temporal resolution. The main research target was turbulent combustion with strong relevance to gas turbine and reciprocal engine applications.

In the last 10 years, carbon-free energy solutions have been the main focus, including biomass gasification, ammonia and metal fuel combustion and dehydrogenation. My group recently started the research on metal nanoparticle generation in spark discharge plasma and aerosol epitaxy using advanced operando optical measurement to understand the governing mechanism and to manipulate the epitaxy processes using laser-induced photochemistry. 

Clean, carbon-free energy will be the main concern.
