Advanced CMR analysis: from pixels to physiology

This project aims to validate and implement cutting-edge image analysis methods for a range of cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging techniques, to enable physicians to better diagnose, prognosticate, and treat patients with different types of cardiovascular disease. The project involves technical development and clinical research of both CMR techniques and neighboring imaging methods such as cardiac SPECT. Physiological interventions including pharmacological stress and physical exercise are used to expand the technical applications beyond the current state of the art.
