Art of song

Research from a jazz/improvisation point of view on songs from the western, classical repertoire of the first half of the 1900. Songs composed for different voice ranges and different instrumentation, by composers like de falla, Rorem, Larsson, Duarte, Bonds where transposed an arranged. Most of the research work and arrangements where done by myself, Almaz yebio, but the artistic outcome is a result of the collaboration between myself and the pianist involved in the project, Aaron Parks. The work resulted in a cd (released by record company Deliberate music) containing 10 songs.
