Bedömning av neurologiskt utfall efter hjärtstopp

Doctoral research project within the research group of Brain Injury After Cardiac Arrest evaluating neurological outcome after cardiac arrest. Main focus is on novel brain injury markers and structural damage on computed tomography [CT] and magnetic resonance imaging [MRI]. Studies are performed within the Target Temperature Management after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest [TTM]-trial and TMM2-trial. Exploring predictive performance of novel biomarkers on neurological outcome and presence of structural damage on CT. The main aim is to improve the care and prognostication of patients after cardiac arrest.
