Being Responsible in a Modern World. Reconfiguring the Boundaries of Ethics with Günther Anders and Hans Jonas in Light of Contemporary Ethical Challenges

In light of the climate crisis, philosophers all over the world are working on expounding the boundaries of ethics to include non-human beings and species, and future generations. In my dissertation, I show why many of them fail and introduce an alternative strategy building on early and mid-20th-century Jewish philosophy.
