Design, optimisation and control of cloud-integrated autonomous networked systems

This project focus on algorithms and theory for optimising autonomous networked systems with ultra-high access capacity and resource requirements. Resource management and control will be key topics, in order for the systems to provide the ultra-reliable and low-latency connectivity (URLLC) required by the mission-critical applications. In these systems, the latency will basically be limited by the geographic distance, since the latency requirements are in the time-scale of the speed of light. Also, in order to ensure high scalability and solve the challenges with high device churn, decentralisation will be another key topic.
