Tidig diagnos och individstyrd terapievaluering vid livshotande komplikationer orsakade av systemisk skleros

Systemic sclerosis is an autoimmune disease associated with significant mortality and morbity. In this project I will explore novel avenues on how to asess the following complications of this disease:
Pulmonary arterial hypertension
and
Interstitial lung disease

In addition I want to study the disease modifying mechanisms of the anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic drug mycophenolate mofetil in vitro.

My goal is to find ways how to use currently available therapies in the most optimal way in this heterogenous disease
