Evidentiary Standards in International Law

My doctoral research project, entitled Evidentiary Standards in International Law, concerns the principles of evidence that are applied by international courts and tribunals. Specifically, it will examine the circumstances and other variables that are relevant for the determination of the standard of proof in the context of international dispute settlement. The project aims to answer the following two major research questions: (1) How do international courts and tribunals determine the standard of proof?; and (2) What legal and factual circumstances are relevant when international courts and tribunals determine the standard of proof?
