G protein-coupled estrogen receptor as prognostic and therapeutic target in breast cancer

A translational, cross-disciplinary project bridging clinical science, cell biology, and molecular pharmacology aimed at probing the function and regulation of GPER, and exploiting the receptor as a prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target in breast cancer. These studies should open up new therapeutic opportunities that may improve personalized treatment of breast cancer patients.
