Land use impact on absorption of photosynthetically active radiation of tropical forests in Cambodia

This project aims to enhance photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) and soil moisture monitoring in Cambodia’s tropical forests by expanding sensor installations to three additional forest inventory sites. These critical measurements enhance our understanding of forest productivity, carbon fluxes, and ecosystem responses to land use change. The data will support climate research, biodiversity conservation, and land use management, benefiting both global researchers and local stakeholders, including archaeologists studying the Angkor Wat watershed.
