Mood and sentence processing

The project investigates the effect of mood, or emotional state, on the time course and neural activation patterns of sentence processing. Interaction of affect and cognitive processes such as attention and working memory, as well as the role of mood in shaping predictions, are being studied using the methods of EEG and fMRI.
