Beskrivning

A collaborative capacity development project funded by the Swedish Institute within the Pilot Programme for Capacity Development and Agenda 2030.

The programme builds on four pillars: human rights based values, situated cognition, participatory design, and national and international networking, to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and experience to contribute to an organisational change towards the elimination of SGBV in Uganda.

The project focused on the design and implementation of multi sectoral change projects within the prism of SDG 5.6 - “Ensuring universal access to sexual and reproductive health and reproductive rights as agreed in accordance with the Programme of Action of the ICPD and the Beijing Platform for Action and the outcome documents of their review conferences”.

Populärvetenskaplig beskrivning

A joint capacity development initiative to contribute towards eliminating Sexual and gender-based violence in Uganda. The project engaged law-makers, policy experts, educationists, media, police officers, and gender experts to design and implement change projects within the areas of SRHR and SGBV.
