V2 in main and embedded clauses in English and Danish over the last thousand years

The project explores verb second (V2) in main and embedded clauses in English and Danish over the last thousand years. The project is carried out as a corpus-based study utilizing linguistic corpora of present-day and older variants of a variety of Germanic languages to map out the development of V2 as a syntactic phenomenon.
