New investigations at the tomb of the 1st Dynasty Egyptian Queen Meret-Neith at Abydos which aim, in conjunction with detailed rerecording of museum material from excavations 100 years ago, seek to help better understand the life, time and identity of one of Egypt's earliest queens.
